This Lower Sackville family of 7 was quickly outgrowing their only bathroom. Case designers listened carefully to their needs and came up with the perfect solution. By dividing the bathroom in two, we were able to create a new place for the kids to bathe, as well as a private ensuite for the parents.  We even gave the master-suite some much needed storage by creating a mirrored double-sized closet along the new wall.

We created the main washroom with the kids in mind. Because the home has small children, a deep tub with removable shower nozzle was added to make bath time a breeze. The floating vanity and raised bowl sink adds some unique charm to the space. It’s not only beautiful and fun, but the large drawers also allow for plenty of hidden storage. Finally, classic chair-rail and soft blue walls create a peaceful, grown-up space for both kids and guests alike.

We added some interesting details to the clean and simple ensuite. We created shelving nooks at the end of the shower to make storing linens a design feature. The built-in accent-tiled shower shelves help keep the clutter to a minimum. Modern dual-flush toilets and water-saving shower heads were added to both spaces to help minimize water waste and municipal taxes.
